The yacht
BOLD is an aluminium explorer-style yacht from SilverYachts with an exterior by Espen Øino. Her decks are built for any climate: overhead shading, glass windbreaks and a winter garden on the owner's deck, a bar on the bridge deck, and a main salon her crew call the Owner's Loft.
With a draft of 2.8 metres she reaches anchorages that deeper yachts cannot. She is not ice-classed, so her Svalbard season is an open-water season. Her helicopter deck stays quiet in Svalbard: flights over the protected areas are restricted.
